Again, thanks again to AIS for the fantastic support to make this event possible. We also want to thank all of the mentors who have stopped by to help out the teams.

It’s Showtime!

We are an hour away from showtime!

Reposting some quick details about the event and what to expect tonight!

Event Overview
We begin on Friday evening and end on Sunday evening. Participants who have an idea to pitch would get a minute to present their idea on Friday evening (no power points).  Participants will then vote on all ideas.  The ideas with the most votes will be selected and then participants will form teams around those ideas.  The goal of the weekend is to build a  prototype. Teams will present their business idea (including a demo of the prototype) to the judging panel on Sunday evening.

Over the weekend we will have a number of experienced mentors to help the teams.

Participants joining SWBKK

Wow!  What a tremendous interest in joining SWBKK!

Thank you to everyone who applied for a place at SWBKK.  We had 250 people interested to join.  It was very difficult having to accept only 100 – in fact, we ended up choosing 120 people because there were too many good ideas and rockstar applicants.

If you weren’t chosen, rest assured that this does not reflect your abilities or the quality of your idea.  We just didn’t have enough spots for everyone to join.

If you applied especially because of the 1st prize – an invitation to the JFDI–Innov8 2012 Bootcamp in Singapore – remember that you can still apply to the bootcamp in Singapore via the online application at http://bootcamp.jfdi.asia/apply.

Please check for your name below – these are the selected participants for SWBKK.
